My son is 16 and she is My son turns 17 this year and she turns 15 so it is a 2 year difference. If it really concerns you, I think you may want to talk to your son about why he is dating a younger girl. You could invite them to dinner and that way everyone could get to know one another better. I recommend talking to them both individually and together to learn more about their relationship: how they think about it, what their goals are, what their likes and dislikes are.
You can learn a lot asking open-ended questions and by staying engaged with them. Don’t be afraid to talk to them! That was my story when my son was that age. In my opinion it’s not a huge age gap.
